The Johnson University President's Scholarship is awarded to students based on the ACT or SAT score and final cumulative GPA from high school or college. A college transcript is used in lieu of a high school transcript for those who were enrolled in an institution of higher education seeking a degree and who attempted and completed 12 credit hours of coursework. The initial scholarship is awarded in the first year. Awards are tracked after every two semesters. For students not awarded a President's Scholarship their initial year, if a 2.75 or higher cumulative GPA is achieved after their first year, the student may qualify for $900 annually for consecutive years. If a 4.0 cumulative GPA is achieved after their first year, the student may qualify for $1,800 annually for consecutive years. The student must maintain a 2.75 or better for continuation of the award. Students may contact the Financial Aid Office for more information and inquiries about the application.
