The Presidential Scholarship is one of Beloit's most prestigious academic honors. Selection is based on exceptional academic achievement and the potential for continued success as a scholar and contributor to campus life. Applicants for the Presidential Scholarship must have a GPA of 3.5 - 4.0. All first-year applicants are automatically considered for the academic merit scholarships. There are no additional steps to be considered for academic merit scholarships. Awards are given primarily based on unweighted, reported GPA. Test scores are not required for merit scholarship consideration. While Beloit does not require letters of recommendation, we value the insight they give us into your ability, character, interests, and potential, as well as individual circumstances that may have affected you personally or academically.
