The Alumni Memorial Scholarship is available to students who are children of Appalachian Alumni. First-year students are automatically considered for the Alumni Memorial Scholarship when applying for admissions. The screening process is highly competitive and is based on high school academic success, SAT or ACT scores, participation in school and community activities (including work experience), and leadership potential.
