1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Murray Family ACCESS Scholarship Program is available to first-time freshmen students at Appalachian, who attend full-time (12 semester hours or more each semester), are residents of North Carolina, and whose guardians' adjusted gross income (AGI) cannot exceed 100 percent of the federal poverty guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services each year. Additionally, a student's EFC (expected family contribution) must be zero after Verification of the student's filing of the FAFSA. Along with the financial assistance for students, a comprehensive program of Academic and Personal Support is a part of Appalachian's ACCESS program.
