1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Houston Alumni Chapter Scholarship is open to incoming or currently enrolled students at Alabama A&M University. This scholarship is based primarily on scholarship merit, financial need, and evidence of leadership. The Scholarship is granted for one academic year in the amount of $2,000 and is allocated equally for Fall and Spring Semesters. Graduating high school applicants must have a GPA of 3.00 and attain a score in the 50 percentiles on the college entrance examination (ACT or SAT), while current AAMU students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.85. Students must provide a letter of recommendation from a principal, counselor, or teacher and at least one letter from a community leader.
