Carthage awards the Modern Languages Scholarships to incoming students. These scholarships are renewable for four years. To apply for a Modern Languages scholarship, candidates must intend to major or minor in French, German, or Japanese, or major in Spanish. An additional major in another subject area is acceptable and can be completed in four years. French, German, and Japanese language applicants must demonstrate a desire to learn the language and culture.
