Carthage awards full-tuition Math/Science Scholarships each year to incoming students. These scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate ability in mathematics and natural sciences, and are renewable for four years. To apply for a Math/Science Scholarship, candidates must intend to major in biology, chemistry, computer science, environmental science, game development, geographic information science, geoscience, mathematics, neuroscience, or physics. A double major in another subject area is acceptable and can typically be completed in four years. The Math/Science Scholarship Program second-round takes place as a hybrid event (on-campus and remote options) on Friday, February 7, 2025. If selected, candidates attending the event will take a comprehensive written examination, choosing four of the following six subject areas that assess your scientific literacy: biology, chemistry, computer science, geoscience, mathematics, and physics.
