The California State University, Fullerton Community Engagement Medal is open to graduating baccalaureate or master's students who have completed at least two unpaid academic internships or service-learning courses. Of these two courses, one of the following conditions also must be met: a) at least one of the courses must be an elective that exceeds the requirements for the degree, or b) the student completed a total of at least 30 hours more than required for both courses. Students are awarded based on their scholastic achievement and course-related service.
