The University of Texas at Austin Scholarships for First Generation Students are open to students whose parents either didn't attend college at all or attended some college but did not earn a degree. Most scholarships require submission of FAFSA. The Office of Financial Aid takes great pride in our stewardship of endowments made specifically for First Generation students: Elizabeth & Gantt Walton Endowed Scholarship, Denson Endowed Scholarship for 1st Generation, Anna and Ryan Moss Endowed Scholarship, Mark & Leanne Wilkenfild Reiter Scholarship and Mary and Hugh Raley Scholarship.
