1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Sherman STEM Teacher Scholars Program is open for incoming fall 2024 freshmen, spring and fall 2024 transfer and current UMBC students, and master of arts in teaching (MAT) candidates. This program supports and prepares high-quality teachers in urban, high-needs schools. Scholars in early childhood and elementary education prepare to be experts in teaching and integrating STEM subject areas, while secondary candidates become experts in teaching a STEM discipline. Students selected as finalists will be invited to attend a Scholar Selection Day on Saturday, February 24. During this program, the student will participate in an interview and have a chance to meet other finalists.
