1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Cyber Scholars Program is open for incoming Fall 2024 freshmen, transfers, and current UMBC students. This program is geared towards preparing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals in an increasingly digital age. It was launched through a generous grant from the Northrop Grumman Foundation and in partnership with the Center for Women in Technology (CWIT). Students from all backgrounds who want to pursue careers in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply. Students who are selected as finalists will be invited to attend a Scholar Selection Day on Saturday, February 24. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. The application deadline for freshmen is January 15, 2024, while the deadline for transfers and current students is March 1, 2024. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
