The Nancy Ann and Ray L. Hunt Leadership Scholars Program is available to entering first-year students who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership in their high schools, as well as academic achievement. The scholarship covers up to 75 percent of tuition and fees. The Hunt Study Abroad Entitlement covers tuition and airfare for a cohort-based study abroad program in the scholars' sophomore year. Only first-time, full-time domestic students are eligible for the Hunt Scholarship. Students must have a composite SAT of 1330 and an ACT of 29. Please note that SMU has adopted a test-optional policy. Applicants to SMU will not have to submit standardized test scores. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
