1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The First-Generation Scholarship provides financial and academic assistance to high school students who exhibit a high degree of motivation and academic potential, and whose parents did not graduate from a postsecondary institution. Interested students must also have demonstrated commitment to leadership and community engagement through service activities with community organizations such as school, neighborhood, nonprofit agencies, or places of worship. Applicants must be a high school senior planning to enter Fisher directly after graduating. Applicants must describe up to two roles or activities from their high school years that best demonstrate their leadership capabilities and what they have learned from that organization or experience. Applicants must also list up to two examples that demonstrate their commitment to community engagement.
