The University of California-Santa Cruz Undergraduate Dean's Scholarships are open to entering undergraduate students. The Freshman recipients may receive an amount of $12,000 to $40,000, split over four years, while transfer recipients may receive an amount of $6,000 to $20,000 over two years. These awards are intended to offset non-resident tuition and will be discontinued if the student becomes a California resident.
