1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Eloise & Gene Koonce Excellence in Education Scholarship was established by Eloise Koonce, who is a retired k-12 educator in physical sciences, and her husband, Gene Koonce, is retired from the petroleum industry. This scholarship supports students in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Preference is given to students majoring in Secondary Education-Math or Science and who demonstrate outstanding leadership who wish to teach STEM in K-12 schools.
