The Martha Hitt STEM Emerging Scholar Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students majoring or minoring in the STEM field. In the applicant's personal statement, candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to at least one of the following areas: Publication, Membership in STEM Organization(s), Social Justice Projects, Community Service Learning Activity, Membership in Women Organizations, Gender Equality, Human Rights Advocacy, and Environmental Advocacy.
