The Lewis and Elizabeth Dowdy Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen who have shown excellence in academics and scholarly leadership during their high school matriculation. They must be pursuing their first bachelor's degree. The Dowdy Scholars Enrichment Program is supported through federal, state, and institutional funding to award during the Fall and Spring semesters. Scholarship funding is not applicable to summer school expenses. Applications for enrollment will not consider the ACT/SAT in entry into the Honors College; however, applicants will be reviewed holistically to include a completed application, essays, transcript evaluation, extracurricular involvement, letters of recommendation, and interview (if applicable).
