The Empowering Excellence Award seeks to recognize high-performing, first-generation students from underrepresented groups who matriculate through the Honors College of Georgia State University. This scholarship seeks to fill a gap by providing financial assistance to cover school-related costs such as tuition, fees, study abroad expenses, and course materials. This award is open to all majors. Preference is given to diverse first-generation students.
