1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Beckman Scholars Program is a 15-month mentored research experience for exceptional undergraduate students in chemistry, biological sciences, or interdisciplinary combinations thereof. This award gives high-performing undergraduate students in the fields of biomedical sciences, biology, chemistry, and neuroscience the opportunity to conduct independent laboratory research under the mentorship of select expert faculty mentors. Beckman Scholars will benefit from additional professional development opportunities and will be well-positioned to pursue their graduate educations and careers in science. Beckman Scholars will receive $21,000 over 15 months, including travel and supplies, and their faculty mentors will receive $5,000 to support educational expenses for their scholars.
