1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
TE Connectivity has established a two-year scholarship program to assist college students for the 2023-2024 academic year and are majoring in Engineering (Bioengineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial), Operations Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or Marketing. The program provides a college scholarship paired with career development, including a required paid internship with TE Connectivity for two summers after the sophomore year of college. Applicants must self-identify as Black or African American or multiracial. Applicants who self-identify as more than one race or ethnicity are eligible as long as one of the races or ethnicities is Black or African American. Scholarship America will select up to 60 finalists. Provided there are qualified applicants, approximately five finalists will be selected from each of the five preferred HBCUs and fifteen finalists will be selected from any four-year college or university in the United States. TE Connectivity will request video interviews with the finalists and will select up to 21 recipients. One online recommendation form must be submitted on November 13, 2023.
