1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Tri-County EMC $500 Scholarships will be awarded to students who plan on attending a 4-year university or college. Applicants must be a high school graduating senior. They must pursue a regular 4-year undergraduate course leading to a baccalaureate degree. Applicants must also be a child of a Tri-County Electric member; or live in a home served by Tri-County Electric; or attend a high school in Tri-County EMC's service territory: Charles B. Aycock, Eastern Wayne, Wayne School of Technical Arts, Wayne School of Engineering, Wayne Early College, Rosewood, Southern Wayne, Spring Creek, East Duplin, Duplin Early College, James Kenan, North Duplin, North Lenoir, or South Lenoir. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. Applicants must be willing to be interviewed by the committee, if necessary, and attend the scholarship banquet.
