The Marian R. DeLano Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to those who have solo-ed and have passed a written test for private pilot. Applicants must also be a member of any 99s chapter in the Ninety-Nines 'Southwest Section' (CA, AZ, NV, UT, HI). The scholarship is good for one rating or certificate only. Air Transport Rating not eligible. There is a 90-day limit to apply funds towards training. Up to three letters of recommendation from persons knowledgeable about the applicant's interest or accomplishments in aviation and/or someone they have flown with may be submitted.
