1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
This award recognizes outstanding research by individuals who have recently completed a doctoral dissertation in arthropod morphology, systematics, taxonomy, or evolution. Candidates must have completed a doctoral dissertation in arthropod morphology, systematics, taxonomy, or evolution at a recognized college or university within two calendar years prior to the nomination submission deadline. Nominations may be made by anyone, although self-nominations are encouraged. Nomination packages must include a letter of nomination that includes a narrative by the candidate describing their eligibility credentials. Applicants must also submit excerpts from their dissertation, along with a scanned copy of approval page, signature page, or similar signed document by a college official or advisor. Two letters of recommendation from faculty members who can comment critically on the aspects of creativity and innovation of the thesis or dissertation and its overall contribution and impact must also be submitted.
