1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The ECP Research Award recognizes a student transition or early professional who has made outstanding research contributions to the field of entomology. The nominee must be a current ESA Student Transition or Early Professional (ECP) member. Eligible members can apply the year following their terminal degree (B.S., M.S. or PhD.) or within five years of degree completion. For the 2024 awards season only, individuals within 6 years of degree completion are eligible for the award. Starting in 2025, eligibility criteria will return to within 5 years of degree completion. The nominee may belong to any area of entomology, but must be practicing entomology. Nominators must provide the candidate's CV which includes the Background Information Section, Research Section, and Service. A research statement written by the nominee must be submitted. Two letters of nomination or recommendation that evaluate and appraise the nominee's accomplishments, placing special emphasis on the work to be recognized by the award, are also required. Nominees will be judged by the Judging Panel based on their contributions to the field of entomology and other supporting information such as their participation and leadership in professional societies.
