1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Betty Hansen Continuing Education/Cultural Heritage Grant will be awarded to those enrolled at an educational, accredited, or approved school in a post-high school course, workshop, or seminar; or in a seminar or language class relating to our Danish culture or heritage. Applicants must be: (A) a Danish Sisterhood member in good standing in the sponsoring lodge or (B) a Danish Sisterhood member initiated for a minimum of one year prior to the application deadline; or the daughter or son of a Danish Sisterhood member as listed in A or B; or the daughter or son of a Danish Sisterhood member who was in good standing at the time of her death. . The recipient is responsible for submitting proof to the Scholarship Chairman that she/he is enrolled in a post high school educational course, the total cost of the course from the institution and is enrolled less than a full-time student. There are two application deadlines; August 31 for courses taken between February and August; and January 31 for courses taken between September and January.
