Public service can take many forms: urban planning, environmental protection, emergency services and first responders, even military service and public education. Those who are public servants are integral parts of everyday communities. The NSHSS Passion for Public Service Scholarship will be awarded to high school and college students of all levels. An educator recommendation letter must be submitted. This is optional but students may submit pictures, videos, or media showing their leadership in action.
