1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Hiawatha and Eunice Northington Memorial Scholarship, established in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Northington, is designed to assist Nurse or Nurse Practitioner students who will work with geriatric clients to assure excellence of medical care to these patients in their sunset years. Applicants must hold current, unrestricted Mississippi RN license and be a current member of MNA. Applicants must also be a nurse or nurse practitioner currently working in geriatrics seeking advanced degree (i.e. BSN, MSN, DNP, PhD). They must have plans to continue in the field of Nursing and work with geriatric clients either in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Applicants must submit two professional letters of reference.
