1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Hiawatha and Eunice Northington Memorial Scholarship was established by LaDonna Northington, Monica Northington and Hiawatha Northington II, the children of Mr. Hiawatha and Mrs. Eunice Northington. Both Mr. and Mrs. Northington were skilled educators who were dedicated to their craft and who believed in the power of a good education. Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted Mississippi RN license. They must also be a current member of MNA. Applicants must be a Nurse or Nurse Practitioner currently working in geriatrics seeking advanced degree (i.e. BSN, MSN, DNP, PhD) and plans to continue in the field of Nursing and work with geriatric clients either in an inpatient or outpatient setting. They must submit a letter from faculty of the school verifying enrollment with anticipated date of completion prior to receipt of award. Applicants must submit two professional letters of reference.
