The Nurse Oneita Dongieux Award for Excellence was established through the Mississippi Nurses Foundation in honor and memory of Onita Dongieux's legacy. This scholarship is awarded to a nursing student enrolled in good academic standing at one of Mississippi schools of nursing. Applicants must submit an essay on the specific topic required, previously published essays may also be submitted.
