Stipends are made available to nursing students and nurses pursuing a degree in nursing in the state of Mississippi through the Nurses Car Tag Program. Applicants may be a full-time nursing student enrolled in an accredited Associate or Baccalaureate Nursing Program or an RN enrolled in a part-time or full-time accredited Master's or Doctoral Nursing Program. They must have a "Nurses Touch Lives" license plate on their personal vehicle at the time of application, and maintain it during receipt of funding. They must also execute an agreement with the Mississippi Nurses Foundation to be employed full-time as a nurse in Mississippi within the first two years following completion of the program.
