1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Stipends are made available to nursing students and nurses pursuing an advanced degree in nursing in the state of Mississippi through the Nurses Car Tag Program. Associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral students may apply. Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted Mississippi RN license (applies to licensed RN). They must have a nursing license plate on their personal vehicle at the time of application, and maintain it during receipt of funding. Associate and baccalaureate applicants must be a full-time student in an accredited Associate or Baccalaureate nursing program. Masters and doctoral applicants may be a full-time or part-time student (3-year limit) in an accredited nursing program. Applicants must submit three letters of reference and a letter of enrollment verification from their school of nursing with date of completion. Applicants must sign a contract with the Mississippi Nurses Foundation to work as a full-time nurse in Mississippi within the first two years following completion of the program.
