1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The George H. Hitchings New Investigator Award in Health Research will support pre-doctoral research in the health sciences by awarding monetary support to students working toward a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. The award will provide flexible support for young researchers currently in their second year of graduate school. Students who expect to follow a career path in academic teaching and research are encouraged to apply. Applicants must submit the sponsor's statement of nomination. It must present the institution's reasons for nominating the candidate. The candidate's curriculum vitae must also be submitted. Applicants must also provide a letter of recommendation from an individual who is the primary mentor on the research project.
