1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Throughout their many years of volunteerism focused on mentoring and tutoring refugee and immigrant families, Larry and Sue Yarger have met many parents who have endured significant hardships and challenges to provide their children opportunities not available in their home countries. The Yarger's established The Achievement Scholarship for Refugees and Immigrants in Wake County to provide financial awards for refugee and immigrant high school graduates who reside in Wake County to continue their education in a post-secondary setting. Applicants must be high school seniors. This scholarship will be awarded for 4 years. Applicants must plan to attend a public or private college or university.
