The Roger R. and Laura M. Yoerger Preprofessional Engineer of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding undergraduate student who has completed a minimum of two years of an undergraduate program of study in the field of agricultural and/or biological engineering. The academic program must be accredited by either ABET or CEAB. The award acknowledges and recognizes an outstanding undergraduate engineer who has excelled scholastically and has been a leader in the local, regional and international communities as shown by their activities and offices held at each level. The candidate who receives this award should also have expressed their desire to be actively involved in ASABE. Applicants must list 3-5 references to provide a letter of recommendation.
