1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Carol Gold Graduate Student Conference Paper Award recognizes an outstanding paper presented by a graduate student at the annual WAWH conference. All fields of history will be considered. Applicants must have membership that is current through the award year (December 31, 2026) when they submit their application. Current WAWH board members are not eligible to apply. Applicants must be a graduate student at the time of the conference. One copy of the paper must be sent to each committee member; papers must be submitted with full scholarly apparatus. Applicants must also submit a statement that they are a member of the WAWH. Applicants should verify that their membership is current through the end of the award year prior to submitting. The presenter must also submit a copy of their paper to their panel's commentator in advance of the conference as is required of all panelists. Please visit the award's website for more information.
