This Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarship will be awarded to the most outstanding applicants with projects that align directly with Deakin University's aim to make a difference to the community and/or industry. Projects must be of high academic quality, align with Deakin's research strengths, and focus on building critical bilateral relationships with the U.S. This may be awarded to Early Applicants with a PhD or other terminal degree. This scholarship is open to applicants whose PhD conferral date is January 2021 or later; those with more recently conferred degrees preferred. Applicants must attain their doctorate by the proposed start date of their grant. Applicants should check the University websiteand identify which Faculty, Research Institute, or Strategic Research Centre aligns with their area of research. They should then contact researchers with whom they would like to work. Institutes, centres, or faculties will consider the alignment of the proposal and the candidate and will provide applicants with a letter of invitation if the application is supported.
