The Mae and Stephen Yih Endowed Scholarship is open to graduates of South Albany High School, including both current graduating seniors and prior graduates who are currently attending college. Applicants must be residents of Albany, OR, and have a minimum high school GPA of 3.50 or a college GPA of 3.00. The scholarship can be used at any 2- or 4-year, public or private, nonprofit, Title IV postsecondary school in the United States. Preference is given to students with a major (preference): Chemistry, math, physics or engineering (mechanical, chemical, nuclear, metallurgical and electrical engineering), and a career field (preference): Chemistry, math, physics, or engineering. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
