1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Lilja Family Scholarship is available to current seniors or graduates of Camas Valley, Days Creek, Glendale, Riddle, or South Umpqua High Schools, as well as residents of south Douglas County who have lived in the area for three years and graduated from any Oregon high school. Applicants must pursue full-time undergraduate or graduate study at any Title IV eligible college or university in the United States and file the FAFSA or ORSAA as Oregon residents. Preference is given to individuals with an agricultural background or involvement in FFA or 4-H. A one-page statement is required indicating whether the applicant or their parent/guardian has an agricultural background, with explanation if applicable. Non-residents may submit FAFSA documentation optionally for financial need consideration. The scholarship is renewable annually for up to four years. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
