1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The La Grande High School Class of 1962 Scholarship supports graduates of La Grande High School, including GED recipients from Union County, who meet one of three qualifying preferences: being a 1962 graduate, a relative of a 1962 graduate, or any graduate regardless of year. Applicants must enroll full-time at a public or nonprofit institution and may receive the award for up to four years with annual reapplication. Financial need is not considered. A one-page statement is required to specify the qualifying preference, and if applying as a relative of a 1962 graduate, the applicant must identify the graduate and describe the relationship. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion for more information.
