1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Luso-American Education Foundation Life-Long Learning grant is for applicants who must be of Portuguese or Lusophone ancestry. They must provide proof of study in the Portuguese language or culture. Applicants must meet one of the following options: (1) They are attending a community or four-year college or university; (2) They are enrolled in a Graduate Program (i.e. Masters, PhD, Credential Program); (3) They are an educator of Portuguese language and/or cultures; or (4) They are preparing for a professional career where the use of the Portuguese language may be used. Applicants preparing for a professional career where the Portuguese language will be used will receive priority. Applicants may apply for up to 3 academic years.
