1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Kaech Scholarship will be awarded to graduates, including GED recipients, home-schooled graduates and current undergraduates, of public high schools in Portland. Applicants must be majoring in music, with a preference for reed instruments. Applicants must have demonstrated band or informal music activities. Any 2- or 4-year postsecondary school in the United States is eligible, except for University of Oregon. Students may apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years. Financial need is not a requirement but it will be considered; FAFSA filing is recommended.
