The Judy Straw Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Jackson County high schools, including home-schooled and GED students, who plan to pursue a career in agriculture-related fields. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and enroll full time at any eligible two- or four-year college or university in the United States. Preference is given to students who have participated in 4-H or FFA for at least two years, and financial need is considered through required FAFSA or ORSAA filing. The scholarship may be received for a maximum of five years. Non-Oregon residents who do not list an Oregon institution on their FAFSA must upload pages 1 and 2 of their FAFSA Submission Summary to be considered. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
