1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Janet Whitney Scholarship supports female students pursuing a major in education, with preference given to graduates of Oregon City School District high schools and those aiming for a career as a physical education teacher. Eligible applicants must enroll at least half time at a public or nonprofit college. Filing the FAFSA or ORSAA is recommended, though financial need may or may not be considered. The scholarship is automatically renewable for recipients who meet renewal criteria. Non-Oregon residents who do not list an Oregon institution on their FAFSA may optionally upload pages 1 and 2 of their FAFSA Submission Summary for financial need consideration. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion for more information.
