The Jack Dannenhoffer Memorial Scholarship is available to graduates of Douglas County high schools, as well as GED and homeschool graduates who are current residents of Douglas County, Oregon. Applicants must enroll full time at a public or nonprofit college and pursue a major in education, math, or science, with preference given to those intending to teach math or science. Filing the FAFSA or ORSAA is required, as financial need is a determining factor. The scholarship is awarded through an annual competitive process and may be received for up to four years. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
