1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The NC CPA Foundation Graduate Program Scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in a graduate accounting program that will allow them to achieve the accounting concentration required to sit for the CPA Exam are encouraged to apply. All applicants must be NCACPA members to apply for a scholarship. Applicants must be either enrolled in a North Carolina college or university and attending on campus, or enrolled in an online program provided by a North Carolina college or university and residing in North Carolina. Prior award winners are eligible to apply for scholarships. The foundation encourages applications from students who are future CPAs and who have strong interpersonal skills, are technologically adept, highly disciplined, and equally productive whether working alone or in collaboration. Applicants are asked to provide information demonstrating that they possess these traits or have the potential to develop them. Additional factors such as financial need and diversity will be considered as well. Written or voice-recorded responses to a small number of open-ended essay questions are required. One reference from someone who knows the applicant well and is not a relative or peer muse also be submitted.
