1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The WRRT Future Leader Scholarships was established to support current Michigan Wastewater operators to pursue Level A or Level B License. Applicants must currently possess a valid Michigan Wastewater Operators license; be planning to meet the EGLE educational requirements through an EGLE approved SHE provider; and be members of the MWEA at the time the award is presented. Applicants may state the amount of financial award they are hoping to receive and indicate how this amount was arrived at, or the full scholarship amount may be awarded. Applicants must submit a resume showing full and part-time employment, education history and extra-curricular activities, for at least the past five years. Applicants must also submit a letter of recommendation from another MWEA member who currently holds a Class A or Class B license. This other member does not need to be their supervisor or employer. The paper, resume, plan, and letter of recommendation must be submitted with a cover letter itemizing the enclosures.
