1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Riverside Math and Science Scholarship will be awarded to those who will or attend any college or university in West Virginia. Applicants must be graduating seniors with a GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or graduates of Riverside High School attending a college or university in WV with a GPA of 2.85. They must pursue a degree in Math or Science, including engineering, medicine, teaching math or science, etc. They must have a B average in high school mathematics and also a B average in Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics or other elective honors science classes. Applicants must also demonstrate a history of community service and have a positive attendance and disciplinary records. They must have involvement in a local church or religious group. Applicants must submit their most recent grades. They do not have to be the official transcripts.
