1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Lois Hole Humanities and Social Sciences Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate leadership and community service. This scholarship was named in honour of Lois Hole, Lieutenant Governor of Alberta from 2000 to 2005. Applicants must be enrolled in the Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social Sciences, or Faculty of Arts at an eligible institution in Alberta. Students are not eligible to receive the award when they withdraw from studies or drop from full-time to part-time studies before the award is paid. Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Canada or Protected Person under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Visa students are not eligible. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, demonstrated leadership and community service.
