The Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, especially in the area of disability, and/or initiative to improve the conditions and lives of others Applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary program: undergraduate, professional, graduate, apprenticeship, diploma or certificate program at an eligible post-secondary institution. Applicants must have shown outstanding leadership, especially in the area of disability, and/or initiative to improve the lives of other people, and be in satisfactory academic standing. Applicants must submit their application to the Student Awards Office at their school. They must include with the application a resume highlighting their leadership involvement and extracurricular activities related to improving the lives of other people;. Applicants must contact their school for application deadlines. Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Canada, or Protected Person under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Visa students are not eligible.
