1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The National Wood Flooring Association Education & Research Foundation Wood Studies Scholarship is designed to promote the post-secondary study of forestry and related forestry sciences. Trees are a natural resource providing the raw materials that support the livelihood of those employed in the forestry industry, including members of the NWFA. This scholarship may be awarded to a current high school senior who will study forestry; or to a current college student enrolled in a forestry, environmental science, or natural resources program. High school seniors and college students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. High school seniors must have an ACT score of 25 or higher, or SAT score of 800 or higher. Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher. High school seniors must submit proof of acceptance at an accredited post-secondary institution in the field of forestry, environmental science, or natural resources.
