The Beacon Scholarship for Rural America will award $1,000 scholarships to one winner for the Spring and two winners for the Fall semester, to graduating high school seniors, current college students or adult learners planning to enroll in an accredited college program. Applicants must also reside in a rural area and meet the low-income criteria. Two letters of recommendation from teachers, coaches, counselors, other academic professionals or colleagues must be submitted.
