1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship provides high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a scholarship for four academic years. In exchange, students must agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school or repay the corresponding, prorated amount of the scholarship. Applicants must be a current high school senior or college student; must have graduated or will graduate from an Indiana accredited high school or non-accredited nonpublic high school. Those who rank in the top 20 percent of their high school graduating class are eligible. Priority will be given to students graduating high school, although current college freshmen and sophomore students are eligible to apply. Applicants will need to submit their personal information, including social security number; academic information; extracurricular information for activities completed during high school; and employment information during high school.
